1)InfluxDB: InfluxDB is a relatively new database, having been published in 2013. This database, which is entirely based on LevelDB, a key-value database, was created using the Go programming language. InfluxDB is a time series database for optimising and handling time series data. Kdb was the first to release time series data in 2000, but InfluxDB gained popularity as the Internet of Things grew, as it gave rise to NoSQL, NewSQL, and a vast amount of growing data.

2)CrateDB: CrateDB is a SQL database management system that is distributed. It is open source and written in Java, and it includes components from Facebook Presto, Apache Lucene, Elasticsearch, and Netty. It is designed for high scalability. CrateDB was created with the goal of making IoT data useful.

3)RethinkDB: The open source database RethinkDB is at the top of the list. It's a portable JSON database built from the ground up for the real-time Network. RethinkDB introduces an innovative new access mechanism by transposing the traditional database design. When a developer provides a command, the query results can be continuously pushed to applications in real-time.

4)MongoDB: MongoDB is a cross-platform document-oriented database framework that is accessible as a free and open source project. It's a database application that uses NoSQL technology. JSON-style documents with schemas are used by MongoDB. It's popular among IoT companies because it allows them to store data from any source, analyse it in real time, and change the schema as needed.

5)SQLite Database: SQLite Database Engine is a process library that provides a serverless transactional SQL database engine (standalone). It has had a tremendous impact on gaming and mobile application growth due to its portability and small footprint.
